Has there been any progress on the installation of multiple sphere lights on steamers and also on tenders for steamers ?

Asking because I also see another request for a great new use of these lights has been mentioned previously by Jonatan .

Sure would be a welcome addition for the " Smoker Section " .

No, apparently it's too difficult according to those "in the know".

As was said to the question of operational turntables some years ago!

I remain hopeful . . .

It's not that this is too difficult for us.
It's just that it takes huge lot of time to do it (we are talking about modifying a part of the 3D engine).
And there's different solutions to evaluate (the perfect solution doesn't exist) and some of them requires a modification of MonoGame which has been developed... but we don't know when it will be released.

Makes perfect sense, Serana. Thank you and the teams involved for the work you do. I appreciate the platform that supports my work, so that I can enjoy the fruits of my labor in an immersive environment.

Thank you again.

I have direct question about tender's back-facing projectors:
The tender is actually "wagon".
Can light effects, belonging to it (projector's glow and back-faced sphere of light, if latter ever possible) be operated by coupled steamer, AI or player controlled?
I'd like to define such effects to tender, but will it be functioning?/how to make that operational?

Basically, it is possible to use a light cone with a tender as well. Although indirectly and therefore its definition in the eng file of the locomotive is used.
I assume that the tender is an integral part of the locomotive. The light cone rotates as the cabview reverses (CTRL+E).
The distance of the beginning of the light cone from the zero point XYZ goes to the places of the tender lamps and it is enough to adjust the light parameters.
Here is a sample:

Thanks.
Maybe, because this, some of engines, I've seen, appeared in Goku's shape viewer together with their tenders.
I'll try that you've adviced, using MSTS Bin syntax for reverced direction lights.
