I can't guarantee any solution, but you'll get more information indeed.
Good luck.

Could be, Roger.
Please would you try to narrow it down to a code change by using a single set of settings and different versions of Open Rails.
As a first step would you try:
U2022.03.26-1537 2022-03-26 15:43:44
and
U2022.03.31-1422 2022-03-31 15:28:49
These builds are either side of the merge "28-Feb-2022 #567 Adds 64-bit compatibility" which replaced the 32-bit RunActivityLAA.exe with the 64-bit RunActivity.exe.
You can download these builds from https://james-ross.c...jects/or/builds

After a night's sleep and thinking about everything again, I did some tests again...
See Attachment:
In summary:
- Previously I didn't see any visual differences in the Option-Setting, although afterwards (in log file) these did exist......
This is because I often switch between various (old and new) releases. (for other reasons, as well as various tests I often run)
- I now notice to get settings "reliable", you first have to check/adjust the settings and save. Then reboot Windows and then "play". (if you switch between releases, sometimes also between OR and NYMG)
Most users will not have this problem, because they use one release, set their favorite options and then use them every time, after all windows will start again...
Greetings,
Roger

This could be because Open Rails does not save checkboxes which have the default settings in them, but only values for checkboxes which hold values that are not default.
Due to the work on Options, in some recent versions the default value has been inverted. I'm not expecting any more inversions, so the settings should become "reliable" once more.

If you use separate ini files for each version, there is no spillover between versions.
I have 1.4, unstable and NYORMG all installed and running reliably.

Please don't try to make a " One size fits All " options panel . The options in ORMG were and have been very customizable so far - - - Why change it ?
With the latest effort, one doesn't have the different options to test for his " unique PC " framerates because PCs and people are not all alike . It wasn't broke before - - why the change ?

a program must be built in such a way that it can be set and customized according to your needs and comfort .. if a user has a performing PC then he can change the settings based on the performance of his PC such quality graphs and performances of the program, as well as for a user who keeps a Medium / low performance PC, in this case it will reduce the game settings by setting them so that they guarantee a performing simulation.
Changing the settings in a universal way for everyone does not make sense, and above all it reduces the game quality, already reduced on the latest Monogame version ..
