SUSQUEHANNA and a coal drag of fifty loaded 10 ton "iron pot" hoppers.

Shots are from Open Rails, Zig Zag Route.

I'm still working on learning OR, TRSE, and all that. Have to study how to get the train to actually move :-) SUSQUEHANNA could use an update, I think I created the MSTS files almost 20 years ago.

Good Lord! I did not know (or forgot) that you had made a camel. Don't tell me you modeled his intricate valve gear! ;)

You're talkin' my era, now, Frank! 1850's rocks! There were some pretty wild paint jobs in those years, huh?

Is Susquehanna the original 'cab-over'?

The good ol days, Frank. I remember when those models were released. :oldstry:

Hey Tim, the way you're going you'll be churning out Winans equipment in no time! ;)

I have no trouble running this as a solo. Maybe the weight behind it.

Definitely detailed and elaborate paint on some. Probably too much so on my camels. If I remember correctly Winans painted his locomotive with cheap green paint everywhere, like Caterpiillar does to their tractors. I noticed I never got around to modeling the feed pump at the end of the long rod that runs out of the steam chest. Never even added a texture to the rod.

I remember doing a B&O version in green,.. It had that abbreviated BALT & OHIU lettering on the tender Not sure what happened to that. There may be a screen shot somewhere.

I painted PANTHER purple going on the premise that if TIGER was pink than any color was appropriate.

TUSCARORA

Allegheny Eastern 0-8-0 "camel". Winans & Gillinghame 1854.The AllEast on the tender was inspired by the Balt & Ohio and Penna abbreviations on very early engines.
The engine sports the original Winans spark arrestor. I chuckled a bit when I saw it. I forgot I added "flames" in the ashpan.

TUSCARORA and LEHIGH head up a train of 100 empties headed for the mines. Train is holding for an eastbound coal drag.

For some reason none of the camels move, though PANTHER ran fine. I tryinng to get TUSCARORA moving by itself, but no dice. I thought it was a brake setting but that doesn't seem to be the problem. The eng files are the original MSTS. Do they need to be changed for OR?

If it ran in MSTS it should work fine in OR.
OR just makes more parameters available and accurate.
