So, these are just two additional animated controls, tied with four sound triggers and controlled by the keyboard and mouse?
And there is no way to tie them to any ORTS function except sound events, right?

The controls may also animate a locomotive animation of type on-off or continuous.

I have added what is needed to implement what NZ_JOHN would like.
Four animations for the 3D cab .s file have been added:
ORTS_ITEM1CONTINUOUS,
ORTS_ITEM2CONTINUOUS,
ORTS_ITEM1TWOSTATE,
ORTS_ITEM2TWOSTATE,
in analogy to the four animations for the locomotive .s file.

That should be available in about half an hour in OR Unstable release U2021.12.15-2051 .

Unstable and testing releases unfortunately are at the moment not updated. As soon as they will be, the feature will be available there.
At the moment it is present in ORNYMG 112.

It works perfectly, with a smooth movement! Thank you very much Carlo!

Hello,
Thank you for these new generic commands.

Can we modify the animation speed for "ORTS_ITEM1CONTINUOUS" and "ORTS_ITEM2CONTINUOUS" in the 3D cabin?

I tried on a wiper in a 3D cabin, it works but the speed is slow.

Have a good evening.

Hi trainagrandevitesse,
there is already a specific 3D cab control for animating wipers, which is EXTERNALWIPERS.

Hi Carlo.
Nice feature there.
Is it possible to add a comand to eng.file in order for an animation start in either one of the two states?
