Train Length is available in OR_NewYear_MG within the CruiseControl code, as ORTS_TRAIN_LENGHT_METERS control block. I can understand that's not exactly what US people need, so if I have time and if there's interest I'll insert also others UoMs and pass this to the official OR releases too.
Autopilot is not a real train feature, which is instead Cruise Control. Cruise control status display (Auto/man) is available in OR_NewYear MG.
I don't understand what EOT gauge is.
Gradient and train weight could be added.

EOT = End Of Train device.

It is clamped to the rear of the last wagon on a train and has the train brake pipe connected to it. Depending on type of EOT, they transmit via radio signal, information like brake pipe pressure and if the wagon is moving. A receiver in the cab displays to the driver if that wagon is moving and what the brake pipe pressure is at the rear of the train.

Emergency brake application can also be started at the EOT to hasten application throughout the train.

There is one way of doing Autopilot these days in North American railroad an its built both in Trip Optimizers an PTC (Positive Train Control). PTC gets all the consists info like tonnage, operative brakes, tons per dynamic etc an does all its warnings to you based on calculations if you in manual or autocontrol is messing up based on its projected speed an distance approaching signals or reduced speed or work zones. PTC for visual purpose is also like a horizontal Track Monitor lengthen up to 6 miles long seeing paths, milepost, signals an grade chart of what's ahead of you.

PTC is very annoying when it panics an buzzes you in its warning distance an will stop you with the available stopping distance calculated by available max penalty brake forces on train to be stop behind signal or reduced speed if exceeding 5MPH that was projected to be passed exceeding limits.

The EOT info in post #12 is correct. Some new EOT also can set the brakes to your EQ without air travel through BP taking long when setting up but not when releasing. The counter also does a nice double beep sound when train length marker is reached counterclock wise or clock wise when it's reached your train length.

I like the new odometer feature that I started entering my trains length into the cvf for when I want my odometer to go clockwise if it benefits those that want the counter to stop exactly on train lengths number. But hey engineer manually enter train length based on their paper work.

Good day, not only that its moving but more importantly what direction its moving. When releasing brakes, it tells you if your tail end is running out, backwards.

All right, thank you very much!

I cant seem to get Kilometres to work, it keeps display metres
I would like to enter as Kilometres with 3 decimal points eg 53445metres as 53.445
Maybe Kilometers is entered wrong and it defaults to Metres
Anyone use this and can help?

KILOMETRES works correctly here, I just checked it, however there might be a localization problem. I will avoid it. There is another thing to change: now it shows only full kilometers. I will change that, so that it can also show decimals ( e.g. 1.234).

The fix is now available in OR NewYear MG rev. 107 and in the official Unstable revision U2121.10.09-1106.

Works fine now 123.456
KILOMETRES must be in Upper case
Thanks very much

A few of my wishes
Already in HUD
but would like in cabview

Autopilot On/OFF display
Gradient as a ratio as well as percent (2% - 1:50 )
Consist length
Consist wight/tonnage
EOT gauge

Anyone else support this?

Also from my end it`s a long desired a dedicated cabview control for Autopilot.
Thank you.
