Good morning, how are you? I've been having issues since the 13th with versions of OR MG. Whenever I start, there is a failure, saying that it was not possible to load an assembly, follow full message "Exception Text ******
System.NotSupportedException: Attempting to load an assembly from a network location that would cause the assembly to be sandboxed in earlier versions of the .NET Framework. This version of the .NET Framework does not enable CAS policy by default, so this loading could be dangerous. If it does not intend to sandbox the assembly, enable the loadFromRemoteSources option. See http://go.microsoft..../?LinkId=155569 for more information.", something related to CAS policy in the Net framework. Searching the internet, I found something about adding a command line to grant access to this assembly, the most I could was to open the menu, to choose routes, consist, but when starting to load the route, it goes back to the menu again. I'll attach the photos, if anyone can help me, thank you in advance, thank you!!!

Hi William,
Welcome to the Forum :)

It might not be the cause of your problem, but do you have the correct version of Net Framework for Open Rails installed (v3.5 SP1)?
See : http://openrails.org...on_guide_en.pdf

Cheers,
Ged

Didn't know you need to activate .NET!!

In modern windows, .Net is included as a component, but it may be off by default.
That's why user have to turn it on manually, when it needed.
For using ORTS, for instance.

I enabled it but nothing has changed. What if I take the command line
"<configuration>
<runtime>
<loadFromRemoteSources enabled="true"/>
</runtime>
</configuration>"
of machine.config file from .net 4.0.3 returns assembly loading failure messages by CAS policy.

I got something similar due to obsolete openrails.exe and incompatible localization.
Try to run Menu.exe directly and choose English language from options.

It looks like it will load and go back to the menu again, I did as you asked. Another thing, when trying to enable .NET, it failed and did not execute the commands

I guess, since some ORTS version, there was a shift from .Net 3.7 to 4.3

The fact is that without the loadfronremote command line, the assembly loading failure, with the command line, it opens the menu, but it doesn't load any route, literally I'm lost as to what the problem might be!!!

What will be after selecting English language at options?

You use pt-br localization normally?

with the command line " <configuration>
<runtime>
<loadFromRemoteSources enabled="true"/>
</runtime>
</configuration>" the menu opens normally, whether in English or Portuguese, it just doesn't load the routes. Now without this command line, it gives an assembly error, and when you click on menu, alas the failure in a menu .dll!
