Ran the PRR 2.0 in OR today trying things out. Ran a few of my old locomotives just for giggles. This one made me laugh out loud. Seaboard centipede #4500 in Pittsburg.
What is with that smoke? Did I make it like that? Might have to rework some of this old stuff.

Some smoke effects from MSTS-era sruff are a bit much for OR. I had some Alcos that basically spit out a tornado of smoke. Brought the frame rate down hard

Hello, Frank.
Try to decrease smoke magnitude below 10

That was a fast fix. Dropped the smoke from 100 to 1
DieselSmokeEffectInitialMagnitude( 1.9 )
DieselSmokeEffectMaxMagnitude( 1 )
DieselSmokeEffectInitialSmokeRate( 1.6 )
DieselSmokeEffectMaxSmokeRate( 1 )
Now to fix those windshields.

100?! :0
They were joking :D
Magnitude and rate are tend to increase, proportional to rotation speed of diesel, so you can try 4 instead of 1 for both.
And what's wrong with windshields here?

I've spotted that too: intended comment would be,
Those houses look as they were made of carton sheets.

that smoke looks like a black hole
