I very much enjoy the activity randomization feature but would it be possible for the timer for this to be 'carried on' after an activity is saved? At present when resuming an activity the randomization timer resets, so if you're running an activity in small chunks you may well never get to the point in time where the random event is due to occur.

Hi Niknak,
nice that you enjoy that option.
When I have a chunk of time I'll see if it is easily possible to save and resume the timers.

Hi Niknak,
I have inspected and debugged the code: the timers used to start the random generation brake and engine failures are correctly saved and restored.

I spoke too soon Carlo.. The problem persists. Namely: If I save an activity after, for example, 10 minutes and then check the log which shows that a hotbox event is due on car 0-2 at 40 minutes into the activity then when I resume that activity I'm hoping for that same car to experience the hotbox after the remaining 30 minutes. But what's happening is an entirely new hotbox event is set up, eg: car 0-7 will suffer a hotbox after 55 minutes. So the original event is cancelled instead of being carried over to the resume. It may well be that what I'm asking for is not possible but I thought I'd just ask anyway.

I really like the feature. Maybe I miss the random signal failure. In that case, "Callon" should be displayed or a normal signal should be given after a two minute delay. Like when the traffic service provider takes a nap.

Niknak,
I see now. Such hotbox behaviour hasn't been added by me, but has been attached later to the activity randomization feature.

That's a shame Carlo. I was hoping that you could work your magic and fix it lol. Thanks anyway.
