Today i encountered annoying thing:
After several minutes of work, TSRE's ConEditor freezes and it's possible only shut it down.
I didnt experience that before.
With other content (trains&consists) result is the same.
Shape wiewer freezes as well.
Log tells only:
[I] devicePixelRatio 1
***
[E] libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile
***
[I] #SFile geometry_info - unknown token:  2304

You might get a faster response if you posted this problem at Goku's TSRE Forum

Thanks, Gerry.
I can't afford such luxury, as being at multiple forums.
If some other users have such issues, the response will be.
I'll wait.

Shape viewer freezes as well.

As you have 2 programs freezing, I would suggest the problem is not TSRE.

Sounds to me like your system is unstable.

TSRE's Shape Viewer and TSRE's Consist Editor.
(not Decapod's S-View) So one program :)
Looks like some memory overflow or error during auto-save...
Does TSRE auto-save anything?

Or some kind of Explorer issues, as the program tries to load some file(s) from disk...

Which shape does the problem occur with? Have you tried opening the shape with Decapod's Shape Viewer? Even if it does open the file, does it give an error?

The forums are free. You don't have to visit as you are notified by email when your posts are answered. Goku has been kind enough to create a forum where his program can be supported, it behooves us to utilize it.

Hello, Charles.
Thank for reply.
I tested it this way:
a) until no shapes is displayed, editor seeems to "live forever"
б) if i call ANY consist or simplest shape (US2 freight empty centerbeam red car from default Marias Pass) after minute or two, program stops responding on mouse clicks;
c) then, if i click somewhere again, i see "hourglass" animation appearing instead of cursor;
d) then, after third click, the window becomes white-smoky and the "X" at the top-right of window's upper bar becomes red;
e) If i click it, the dialogue window appears, telling me, that program stopped responding, so i can choose, whether to close it now, or wait for answer.

SView shows that normally, and more: about two-three weeks ago, i worked with that consists during hours without any issues!
Something was changed somewhere... but what?

Assuming that you installed TSRE correctly (see instructions below) I must agree with EngMod or maybe you have inadvertently deleted critical TSRE files.

Quote

For example, you would download: http://koniec.org/ts...RE5_v0.6955.exe as of January 2018.
 If you have 32 bit Windows (usually foe use with an older computer), you would download: http://koniec.org/ts...x32_v0.6951.exe
Installing TSRE5
 While the download file is an installer of sorts, it is not a "Windows" installer. The program will run from where ever you placed it so make sure you place the
downloaded file where you want TSRE to permanently run from.

If you install your MSTS into \Program Files\ or \program Files (x86)\ expect problems
due to Microsoft Security. TSRE will not operate corretly in a system managed folder
like these . You must place the EXE somewhere else, like maybe a new folder you that
you name C:\Programs\TSRE\.
Run the EXE file that was downloaded. The TSRE executable will download the additional application
data from the server.
Manually Installing the additional TSRE application data
If the automatic installation download doesn’t work for you ( for instance, if you have Windows XP or no
internet connection), download latest ZIP version from here: http://koniec.org/tsre5/data/appdata/ and
then unzip into the desired directory location tsre_appdata):

Maybe try new D/L and reinstall.

I've moved TSRE program and OpenAL to new empty directory, launched it, and all neccessary files were downloaded, then returned that stuff to TSRE folder.
without any advance...

After rolling-back the system to 14-th of June state (the issue with TSRE was encountered about 19.06), things became better.
So, it looks like Derek was right, taking in account, that TSRE is likely rather resource-consuming software.
Yesterday, I revised consists of one mini-route, using TSRE for prolonged period of time-no freeze have occcurred.
