I need to know how do I change the path from the original path to new path in TrackViewer? Do I have to start with new path or click something on the original path from going over to next track via switch? All I want is to change the path from original path to new path with the same name of template? The train will come through on main tracks not going over to 3 or 4 switches then back to main tracks again. Let me know what should I do with this path to change the path or start with new path?

John

Got it figured out after reading the manual over and over again.

Thanks,

John

You can drag the path's segment with Ctrl-mouseleft and drop it to desired siding, check the whole route, as it could be "straightened" in some other places too, change metadata, related to display and file name and save your work as a new route.
Note, that for automatic passing function of ORTS to work, you must define both of opposite paths to go upon the main track of the station, then program will calculate all for you, as if that paths will be not common at that location, no calculation will be performed.

it was also my experience that I had to read the manual. It was not something I could just figure out.
