Heyo There

since i started Using TSRE to Create Routes and edit them, there is one Thing that i'm still miss.

Some Layer to messure the Distance between points, like the effective Track Distance between two Stations including the extra Distance vrom curves f.e.
Like some Map Services do:

If nothing else comes up go find the Object Rotator spreadsheet. You place two objects on the points you want to measure, save, then copy their position data into one of the tabs in the spreadsheet. It'll tell you how far apart they are and what angle they are to each other relative to north.

Comment from the outside (ie never placed a model in a route)...the distance measured by the Object Rotator is probably a linear measurement (correct?). The sample map posted in the first post shows tracks on a radius for which the track length is not going to be the same as a linear distance between two points. If that is concern.

You could have a distance displayed with the help of two Platform markers. Set them in TSRE, then create a path over them in TrackViewer. Load this path into a service in the TSRE service editor. Then the distance between the two Platform markers is addet. How exactly this is I can not say.

I use the ruler function in TSRE
Access it from the Objects window F1
Other -- TSRE Tools --- and there you have the ruler.
Place it the same as any other object

I find the "Only Two point Ruler" setting in the LH window to be easiest to use
