Paul,

The route looks like it is coming along nicely. Soon another Canadian route will get added to the few Canadian routes available.

A few progress shots taken along the Timmins Yard. To the east of the roundhouse will be the Hollinger Mine, one of the biggest gold mines in North America. To to west is the mile and a half long Mattagami Spur, with a few more customers and ending in two large lumber mills.

A few shots of the Hollinger Mine progress. The tramway was used to take tailings from the Hollinger Mine to the back of the McIntyre Mine where they were used to fill in an early open pit operation. The orange struction over Highway 101 was to prevent ore from falling on the traffic below.

The McIntyre Mine can ve seen in the upper left of the photo of the Hollinger Mine, about two miles away in Schumacher.

Gosh, Paul, these are great. I am always impressed with the amount of work you put into your routes. You do it all! And it just keeps getting better. I like the baseball field and bleachers. Is the field a shape? And a Shay, too! . . Really cool. :thumbup3: :thumbup3:

Hi Tim,

The field is a shape. Back when I first make Kentville on the DAR I used a Google shot of the ball diamond there but it was too fuzzy, so now I'm making the dirt part of the field.

I'll have t package the Shay, just keep forgetting about the rest of the rolling stock I've completed and they are just sitting here.
