The folder that has routes in it MUST be outside of the folder that has Open Rails in it. If it is in the Open Rails folder, it will be deleter when you update Open Rails.

C:\Open Rails holds the game code
C:\Routes holds the Global, Routes, Sound and Trains folder and all required subfolders. The main Routes folder can be named as whatever you like , and there cab be several such folders for different countries and/or track gauges. You just use the Options/content menu in Open Tails to add each set to a pick list on the start menu.

Ok, I get it, now I have it done, but the textures are still not visible. ¿?

OK, time to look at the Open Rails log file, which is on your desktop if you have logging enabled. That will tell you the texture names and where Open rails is looking.

I remember the Leon Sahagun Route may have a bat file that copies content from the default routes of MSTS. Maybe that's what's missing?

Try looking in each folder for a .bat file but there don't seem to be any.

All of the missing textures and shapes are default Microsoft Train Simulator files. Do you have that installed. If yes, move the route Lesa into the MSTS Routes folder and run the Insatallme.bat or similar which is in the main Lesa route folder.

The LeonSahagun.exe file installer, run internally different bat files, that copies some content from the default Microsoft Train Simulator files.

No, I don't have MSTS, but it is not necessary right?

Yes, the installation did that, but since I don't have MSTS, should I download something?

No MSTS content means no textures and missing shapes. A very long time ago someone made a file of all the shapes and textures, and I think there was also a route that had everything in it. Maybe someone will drop in here and remember the filenames and where to get them. Until then, put the route to one side and try another one. Some routes come complete with all required shapes and textures.

Ok, I would love to find it, I will search but I will also keep looking here.

Hola.
I've noted too, that buildings, fences and tracks are looking as ones from default MSTS routes.
This more likely means, that installation of this route includes copying of that textures and shapes from MSTS default routes.
As we see gray boxes, the shapes are present, only textures cant be found (but maybe not absent).
Furthermore, TRSE obtained that all, as You see complete picture.
The solution is somewhere about.

So could it be that the routes I have installed are made to reproduce with MSTS installed?

Not sure.
Usually, installme.bat searches for default 6 MSTS routes one level higher, than the folder, where current route being installed (and where the *.bat-file itself placed)
then it begins copying all neccesary content from their folders to this route's.
I can suggest You to open our favorite *.log-file and try to search, where are your missing files with windows explorer.
Obviously, they are present somewhere at Your disk, as TRSE can see them.

before installing anything
