Error on the amount of video memory 4 GB instead of 6 GB Rate Topic: -----

Good evening.
I don’t know if it’s a bug but "OpenrailsLog.txt" shows 4 GB of memory for my graphics card while this one has 6, did anyone notice this problem? , I don’t think it affects the simulation. What do you think?

Video      = NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER (4,0 GB RAM)

Check the card with Gpu-Z.

Please attach a complete openrails.txt so the developers can see what is happening.

OpenRails is only detecting 4GB RAM on my 8GB video card.

Video = NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (4.0 GB RAM) (nvlddmkm 27.21.14.6109)

Note that DXDIAG.exe is also only detecting 4GB.

This is a limitation with the API we use to query this information (WMI); you can see other people also asking about this limitation on e.g. the NVIDIA forums.

It does not affect anything inside Open Rails, it is entirely informational.
