I tried to create my first pool with this file in the attachment. Pools_Selzthal.pool-or. I created an overlapping access path pointing away from the storage path and a path from the loco to the access path. The loco drives along the path to the acces path, but vanishes at the overlapping point. So I think, something is wrong with the pool definition. The information in the openrails-logfile points in the same direction: "Information: Train : EC_164_1144abstellen:Selzthal : reference to unkown pool in dispose command : szt_1144".
Now I tried everything I could think of, but no success. Some ideas, I could check?

Try this:
;#comment
#comment;Pools in Selzthal
#name;Szt_1144
#comment;Szt_1144
       #storage;Szt-1144-pool
       #access;Szt-1144-access
       #settings;force_creation
#name;Szt_1142
#comment;Szt_1142
       #storage;Szt-1142-pool
       #access;Szt-1142-access
       #settings;force_creation

- Change the original name of the pool definition file from pools_selzthal.pool-or to pools-selzthal.pool-or. In fact, try to use - instead of _ in any names, filenames or other designations when building timetables. also try to change the names to Szt-1144 and Szt-1142, and so on.
- And pay attention to case sensitive file names. I usualy use everything with lower case.
- Be sure that when you reference the pool in your timetable you use either the Szt_1144 ou Szt_1142 names and not the pool filename.

Can you show me the timetable line were you reference the pool?
Or better yet, can you zip the pool file, the timetable and the paths?
Also, has I cannot check the paths without the route, could you print screen views from the track viewer with the paths, the access and the pool?

The line in the timetable is

and if you open the storage and acess name is case sensite with the pat file AND the name inside the path file?
edit the correspondent path files and check in you have a line
Name ( "Szt-1144-pool" )
or
Name ( "szt-1144-pool" )

It seems to me that timetable is unable to find the pool, so I still think is something to do with the syntax and lower and upper case... happened to me last year when i begun my timetables.

after looking at the paths pictures i would try this:

Try keeping your accesses has short has possible.

I just tryed doing that in one of my pools and it messes with it.

got a bunch of these in OpenRailsLog.txt
Warning: Could not find file 'C:\Jogos\Train Simulator\ROUTES\CPV_PT79\Paths\ pool-entroncamento-1.pat'.

Warning: Pool : C:\Jogos\Train Simulator\ROUTES\CPV_PT79\ACTIVITIES\OPENRAILS\pool-entroncamento.pool-or : error while processing storege area path : pool-entroncamento-1

check your log file on your desktop for identical messeges.
