Debugging TT problems is tough when a route has a corrupted TDB.
The missing signals may have something to go with the crash. Maybe TT code looking for signal? I speculate fixing the errors should be doable as I ses the error report calls out the bad line #'s in the signal file.

I use Context programmers text editor for tasks like easily finding a particular line number is a file.
Those missing signals in the TDB can probably be repaired using TSRE v699.

regards,
vince

There is a real problem in the TrainControlSystem.cs code here. To find it out better I should generate a small timetable replicating the issue. Unfortunately I'm not very expert in timetables, so this won't occur rapidly.
Vasi,
could you provide some more info about the 2 trains attaching? Do they have more than one locomotive each? Could you attach here the timetable, pointing to the failing $attach, and could you attach also the consists of the two trains? If the route is freely downloadable, can you provide a download link as well the paths of the two trains?

Vasi,
can you try replacing into OR X1.3.1-285 the two files contained in the attached .zip file?

I found this issue when I drive a train which attaching another train at terminal station (left one on attached screen). My train had 4 locomotives and passive trans had 1 locomotive. But this situation is difficult to replicate, because my train takes about 40 minutes to reach terminal station. So I found different scenarion in my timetable. I this scenarion my trains has 1 locomotive and passive train has 2 locomitives (right one on attached screen). My timetable is quite complex, but I am pretty sure, both situations work in the past.

U2020.11.05-0236 2020-11-05 02:43:09 doesn't work from this wesion
U2020.10.26-0006 2020-10-26 00:13:10 works until this wesion

Csantucci I have tried your fix, but unfortunatelly it doesn't work.

Could you create a simple timetable like the one on the right on a default MSTS route, so that I can test it without writing the timetable myself?
I was able to reproduce the crash and now will try to solve the issue.

Vasi,
there was a small error in my fix. Can you try with the two files included in this new .zip file?
Attached File  Orts.Simulation1.zip (1.38MB)

In Vasi TT pic above I see 5:04 $attach=R1134:R Ostrava - Olomouc
I think a train name with : is a bad idea because OR may parse this as a time operator. Also spaces, hyphens. I would rename this train as R1134ROstravaOlomouc . This is still readable and may help avoid trouble

The : means that the train is defined in the Timetable whose name is after the : (I've read this this morning in the manual...)

My OR NY MG (rev 85) crashes when the loco detaches whith $detach/allleadingpower/forms command. It looks like the issue occurs when the player train is formed into another train.

Oleg
