As of now the shadow behind on-screen messages covers almost the whole screen lenght, see picture

I've prepared a small change, so that the shadow appears only behind the message text, see picture

I have the intention to upload this for inclusion in the official Unstable release, and will insert it also in next OR NewYear MG release.

This is now available in OR NewYear MG rev. 85, and a PR has been generated for inclusion in next Unstable release.

If I understood right, the question is the length of the black stripe, which now is clamped to text, instead of being stretched across all the screen?
Well, Carlo is one of principal "locomotives", who hauling the progress of ORTS, as accurate and fine, as most famous Italian artists, making their paintings perfect; thank to him.
