As was early in OR NewYear MG, in the actual Unstable releases the 2D cab doesn't darken at night. Dennis successfully provided me a patch for this (that I don't find at the moment), that was further amended by Steffen I believe.

if you haven't yet done this, may I also draw your attention to two private conversations we have, one with last message dated 20/11/2018 and one with last message dated 3/11/2020: there are many of your patches there.

I'm sure my patch fixed Steffen's problem but now I come to test it, it's not working on my test system now! I have several test versions of OR so I'm going to go through them to find out when and why the patch stopped working.

1. Cater for Left Handed mouse users
2. Fix truncation warnings for Shaders
3. Fix 2D cab not darkening
4. Fix ETCS gauge not working.

I have submitted a patch to James to fix this issue. It takes inspiration from the NewYear fork, but it also takes a slightly different approach. Specifically, I have replaced the string materialsKey with a tuple, because tuples are much easier to work with.

By the way, dennisat, your patches are no longer downloadable.
