Hello,

I have same issue. I found out it is caused from version U2020.10.18-0851 2020-10-18 09:58:14
There was only change in Pull request #292 at 85bd4e98a: SignalScript parsing reports unnecessary exceptions.

If I found out correctly, there was no update for trackviewer itself.

Unfortunatelly I don't have pemission to download patch from dennisat.

The List of james Ross, here:
https://james-ross.c...jects/or/builds
does no more contains all produced Relese of 2020.10.16:
The Open Rails U2020.10.16-1021 2020-10-16 11-28-16 was been the last working Relese.
the next Release produce this error. It was been Open Rails U2020.10.16-2036 2020-10-16 21-43-15, it is actually no more in the list.
So you should look for all PullRequest since the last working release, see above.

The Problem persist in the newest release: Open Rails U2020.11.17-2006 2020-11-17 20-13-16
Bevore some days Carlo has looked at the problem, he is thinking, that the reason is the change to Monogame in this releases.

Don't know if this is the right place to report this, but all of a sudden in the last few weeks, not all of my routes are showing up in the route menu when I go into Open Rails. Have tried reinstalling Open Rails and the routes, but zilch.

Thanks for the reports, everyone. I have submitted a patch to James to fix this crash.

Unfortunately, while this makes the Track Viewer functional, I have discovered that all track symbols are now failing to render. I am not sure how to fix this.

This also occurred in OR NewYear MG and was fixed, I believe by dennisat.

Do you have a patch, or at least a clue regarding what was changed?

I've contacted Dennis on this.

I draw your attention also to another bug, which is present not only in the Unstable MG, but also in OR NewYear MG and that I wasn't able to solve.
If you start the game in windowed mode, then switch to full screen with Alt-Enter, the vertical pointing position of the mouse is no more correct. It points about 10-20 pixels under the displayed position.
If you instead start the game in full screen, the mouse points correctly. If you however switch to windowed mode, and back to full screen, the bug appears.

Hi,

I think this patch cures most of the problems with MonoGame TrackViewer in the current Unstable version.

Thanks, I see that disabling mipmapping for the basic shapes and scaled-down terrain textures allows them to render. I'm not sure what the other lines do.

Hi,

To be honest, I don't recognise some changes in this patch. It may just be my bad memory or they could've been introduced before or after I resolved certain problems. I'm not a graphics programmer, the graphics problems I've resolved have been due to hours of Googling. No doubt better solutions can be found.
