When in signal debug, signal information on some signals do not appear.
I already tried deleting the singal and placing new one but it does not work.

What could be happening?

I think, there is a wrong statement in the script for this Signal in the sigscr.dat
There are 8 states defined for Signals:
State = SIGASG_STOP .... SIGASP_CLEAR_2; this labels reperesent the Numbers 0 ... 7
if i enter insted in the sigscr.dat for a Signal the nonsense-Statement:
state = 8;
the Signaldebuger will show the situation as in your picture.
Unfortunately this nonsense is not reported in the logfile

Is there any information anywhere on using "signal debug"?

I think, the function is selfspoking?
The yellow/white line is the track before the train.
The Function is showing the states of the Signals Type "NORMAL" and the states (set) of the switchs in front of the Train.
The connections of a switch are counting as follow:
If You are looking from the root to the connections, the connection at the left is number 1, at the right is number 2.

To turn it on, press Ctrl+Alt+F11
The end of line shows the border of the train's authority.
