How about a field in the .ENG file for Loco Number (ie Ef30071) then a display in the Cabfile to display Loco number.
Most Locos have the number on the wall in the cabfile.
That way one Cabfile only is needed instead of a separate Cabfile for each Loco
If there is any interest in this I could escalate it

A more generic solution would be two parameters for both .eng and .wag: Initials (string), Number (probably an Int). That way those of us in North America that want to have CP 5418 can have both fields loaded while for a different time and place only one or the other could be filled in -- 504 -- if that is enough to be correct.

If that doesn't cover all needs, what is missing?

Ideally these values get displayed in the f7 sprite text, perhaps with a second press of the key.

How do I escalate this?
Or can some do this for me?
