I have U2020.10.08-1551 installed and the only file in the "Documentation" folder is "Manual.pdf" in the cs subfolder.

I have had no response to this. Am I doing something wrong to cause me not to have documentation installed?

David, you can find the full documentation in the last stable version -- 1.3 -- I have no idea why it is not in the unstable version or monogame.

Now, every-time OR does a daily update, the documentation is lost again.

I've copied the documentation folder to my TrainSim docs folder where I keep all my notes, pdf's, manuals & research material, etc. Periodically I compare the docs to any new ones to make sure I'm kept up-to-date.

David, you can also have more than one directory for Open Rails, I keep three, one for the Monogame versions I'm using, one for the Unstable versions, and one for the last stable version. All have shortcuts on the desktop...all work just fine.

..... and all loose the documentation when automatically updated.

I do not understand how that can happen...if you copy the "documentation" folder to your docs and then rename to -- for example -- "ORTS_Documentation" ... how can that be replaced when you update?

Yes, that would not be deleted, but with the documentation in that location, it cannot automatically be opened from within OR.

Respectfully -- it is best to be flexible and adaptable in this world, finding solutions to simple dilemmas can either be regarded as a nuisance or a pleasure. I hope you will find a solution that works for you.
