Timetable map window Similar to the Dispatch map window

Some time back I customised the Dispatch Window to provide him with information on the timetabled trains in a more convenient form than the HUD provides.
Rick found it useful so he has encouraged me to make this effort public. I've had to take my quick and dirty prototype and turn it into something good enough to share.
It's now a Pull Request on GitHub which means that it has arrived in the Unstable version and will arrive in the Testing version once it's been peer-reviewed.
It's there to help timetable creators but it's a bit nicer to work with than the Dispatch Window:
The Dispatch Window is still there, of course, and we have tabs to switch between the 2 map views. I've done my best not to disturb any of the Dispatch Window code, but it's possible that I've broken something.
Those of you who use the Dispatch Window a lot (single or multi-player), please would you update to the Unstable version and check that it still works fine.
Thanks.

The Map Window window with the Timetable tab opens, but in a moment I get this unrecoverable error .

Thanks for the images, m61.
Can you post the log file OpenRailsLog.txt so that I can see the details of the error, please?
Also, were you running a timetable at the time?

In the Timetable mode, the author added station names instead of sidings for freight trains and maneuvers with these trains - only this option is unfortunately possible in this mode. It would be nice to have messages displayed or played back e.g. wave for the locomotive driver at a certain time, as in activity mode.

The main openrails.org is down at the moment.
I do have a problem though. There are blue lines spreading across from the tracks (see screen shot)
Also it isn`t possible to choose the background colour from a window as offered by the test version
I`m certain timetable compilers will find this very useful.
Thanks, Rick

The blue lines represent platforms which are drawn under the track line from one end of the platform to the other. I could make them optional, but perhaps your route has some ends which are misplaced?
I retained the background colour option for your benefit, but selecting it from a colour picker seems to be incompatible with the Testing version, so I provided a cycle of colours including white. If you want to give me the RGB for your preferred background, then I can slip that in as one of the steps in the cycle.

Thanks for a quick response, m61. I'll post back to this thread as soon as I have found the cause of the problem.

I had already thought a bit about that and have done some trials. My preferred method is via a webpage which responds to the location of the timetabled train and the time and then reveals as much text and images as you want.

Don't think so. My timetable (for a fictitious route) now stands at just over 4500. And I'm very busy extending the main line to the end of the route, so there's lots more to come. Just wondering when the system will collapse.
