Is there any way of preventing the black background of the status bar showing near the bottom of the main screen, extending totally across the screen?

Hi David,
It's on the Options panel, the first one that opens.

Vince, I see how to remove them (control confirmations) completely but not how to not display the black background of the unused portion of the message line.

If there's no message your saying there's still a black background line? I never noticed that. Why is it a problem?

No, I am not saying that!! Put a different way, why does the black background not stop at the end of the actual message itself and not continue for the full width of the screen?

David, I've always wondered about that also, only reasonable idea I had was that it was to bring attention to the notice. However, I don't see the need for it to continue past the actual message. You'd think that should be easy enough to fix, although to be honest, a low priority, considering all the other work being done to transition to Monogame, and the normal routine of fixing physics and operational bugs.
