Just in case anyone here is interested I've uploaded the DARv3 route to Trainsim.com and it should become available tomorrow morning.

Kudos, Paul! :good2:
Seeing your Screenshots throughout the past few weeks has really been a pleasure, so what must it be like to actually run the route? http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/jawdrop2.gif
Definitely looks like another possible starting place from where to rebuild my collection :)
Cheers, Markus

It funny, you spend a year or so building a route and then when it comes time to create the activities, you have to learn how Open Rail works again! I like road switching, so there is plenty of that. I'd like to see OR do something a little different with lighting at night, maybe get the rear light to become a smaller cone of light at the last car when you uncouple, but so far nobody appears to be interested on the suggestion board. Other then that, it was fun, even the activity that took over 8 hours to run.

Here are a few shots of Paul's excellent V3 of the DAR that I am in the process of modifying, (adding more in the way of scenery). This is not to belittle all of the hard work Paul has put into this route. I am just adding some additional to make it more to my tastes.
It is a summer morning of 1959. The two diesels assigned to east bound freight 26 are in for service at the Kentville engine house and in their place old work horse 1046, a 4-6-0 from years gone by that has been kept as a back-up has taken their place. The train is about a half hour late getting out of Kentville as we stand on the station platform to catch her leaving town.
We are ablet to catch her at a number of places along the line between Kentville and Windsor before we have to leave her and head to work, to makke it before 8. It is 7:35 when she clears the station at Windsor, having made up all but 10 minutes after leaving Kentville at 5:30.

It looks like the landscape benefited from a lot of rain and grew!
