I have put the above Stream in my locomotive .SMS (only changed the .WAV files) and this one also works normally, Panto "up and down" are audible with Panto_1 (Shift-P).

As an attachment the .SMS that I have tested, maybe you see a difference?

ORTS is not ignorantes these two triggers, it must be something else?

Maybe as a test:
You can make a basic stream, so remove "FrequencyCurve (" - is useless here in my opinion? - and "VolumeCurve (" and set "Volume (1.0)".
You can also test via Sound-Debug (ALT-S) whether the .WAV file in question is being addressed, if you use SHIFT-P?

Attached File  UH1010eng.zip (3.27K)
Number of downloads: 356

I deleted FrequencyCurve, Volume is set on 1.0.
Test via Sound-debug didn't show playing a waw file during the rising pantograph "2" by Shif+P.
I will ask my friends, if they have a same problem.

So, solution is a simple. Csantucci is right.
In a sound option, compatibility with old MSTS Bin sound must be confirmed.
Will be possible to add these triggers to ORTS code ?

Thank you advance.

Ah, did not understand that Csantucci was referring to the option "MSTS Bin compatiblesound" ........
By default it is always "on". (indeed, does it still have a function in the current ORTS era?)

Yes, that option could be deleted in the OR sound options menu and could be considered as always on in the code.

Greetings,

I am using a weekly update version - now it is 338 - and I have found a following problem with Variable2 trigger on electric locomotives.
When you set a reverser to forward, the value of the all variable2 triggers is "+" in default and all sound triggers2 work us usual. But when you set a reverser to back, value of the triggers2 is "-" and all variable2 triggers in sms are not functional. The same situation is, when you create a consist with two locomotives and the second is flipped.
I suppose, it is a bug, because a diesel locomotives don't have the same problem. Direction does not influence a value of variable2 trigges. Also does not mattere, if the consist is flipped.

Can somebody check it ?

Thank you.

Yes, there is a bug, and I am puzzled by the fact that it was never noticed. I'll correct it.

Maybe is a bug too - if you create a loop inside the wav ( for example horn, compressor), ORTS sometimes reads complete wav, sometimes skipped, what is defineted before the loop and begins play only loop. Sound, which is behind the loop is played always without problem.
There is one solution, how to fix in in sms + wav. Cut wav on the part beginning (playoneshot), 2nd wav loop+end (startlooprelease). Unconfortable is the silence in miliseconds betwen 1st and the 2nd part.

Any idea, how to fix it ??
