I am new to OR. Have used MSTS since its beginning. Is there an activity editor in or for OR? I like to write my own acts. Is TSRE5 the software I should use?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mac

Hi Mac,
and first of all, http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/sign_welcome.gif to ET!
Currently, there is no complete solution to replace the MSTS AE, but there's to pieces of software that together can replace it (I have not tried it, though).
First, there is a "contributed" ORTS program called "Track Viewer", that you can open from the "Tools" drop-down menu on the main menu page of ORTS. It is used to create paths that can make use of all the new options introduced to paths by ORTS.
Secondly, as you mentioned, there is TSRE5, which is developed on it's own and only linked to ORTS by the fact that it can be used to create activities. However, it does not include path editor, so you will have to use Track Viewer to do that.
Personally, I have not (yet) tried TSRE5, but there are people here who have. If you need anything not covered by the manuals, there will for sure be someone around here willing to help you out.
C'ya on the forums!
Cheers, Markus

Hi Mac,
Marcus has given some very useful help and advice, however, I still only use the MSTS AE to create activities even though I only ever use OR to run activities. The Track viewer is a very good tool for creating/modifying paths and using OR Waiting points. Reading the main OR Manual gives a wealth of information, etc.
Regards,
Stephen

I sometimes use the MSTS AE, and sometimes TrackViewer + TSRE5.
