Hi,
Trying to set an EMU, I find that, with several engines in a train, they all brake simultaneously, as if all locomotives send a braking signal.
As a result, brakes apply or release immediatly, and the brake pipe follow the Eq Res immediatly.
I may have missed something (parameters?) but after lot's of test, I've got every time this result.
It seems to be normal for MU'ed engines for lot's of countries, but, as far as I know, it's not a usual way for european ones (for those I know), as only the leading locomotive controls the brake pipe. In a similar way, independant brake applies only to leading engine (except some engines). Only Dynalic brake is MU'ed. This way of dealing the brake avoid the release of the brake by a malfunctionning engine.
Is there something I missed, or is it an OR limit?
Thanks for the reading.
Flo
