Hi guys,
A user reported a fatal crash via the Open Rails website.
An extract from the log gives:
I was assuming that this was due to a virus checker interfering, but the user cannot find such a thing.
Can anyone suggest another reason why this error might arise?
Thanks,

Hi Chris,
Temp files are named on the run and they will conflict sometimes.
The only option is to reboot and try again.

Get them to run Start>Run/Open resmon.exe, go to the CPU tab and in the Associated Handles>Search Handles field, type the path to the file or the folder it's in, in this case c:\users\amin\appdata\local\temp\ and press 'Enter' or the double arrows.
It may take a while, but a list will appear with any local processes with a handle to files in that folder along with the PID number.
Cheers,
Marek.

Thanks to both of you.
I had two more reports today - one on the AppData\Local\Temp files and one for OpenRailsLog.txt on the Desktop.
I'll follow your advice.
