A little while ago I started this thread >>> http://www.elvastowe...lay-in-cabview/ --- explanations were provided and I was somewhat satisfied, although I was not able to correct the condition. Most folks said OR treated cabviews correctly...well I'm not so sure. I think a bug has crept in and muddled how cabview displays are presented in the sim. Somewhere along the line from the last stable version (ver1.3) to the most recent Unstable version I've run ( U2020.05.15_0651) something has changed. Not even going to try to explain, simply look at the two screenshots....follow the red arrow.Same cabview, same locomotive, same route, same activity, nothing changed except the version of OR.

1st screenshot Throttle display is correct upon starting ( last stable version 1.3 )
2nd screenshot Throttle display shows dynamic brake "B2" setting upon starting.
GE ES44 Photorealistic cab version 2, by Borislave Miletic, zip of cvf file attached.

Does this occur with the latest unstable patch, and a default locomotive such as the Dash9?

If I can reproduce the problem then I have a chance at trying to correct it if it is a code problem.

This seems like it could be related to this problem as well: http://www.elvastowe...anging-cabview/

Cheers, Markus

Yes, they are...thanks for the suggestion. This is something that I'm not positive is a bug in OR, ( contradicting my first thoughts )...not all cabviews, the majority are fine...it does appear to happen with multi-state displays...I do not know the ins-&-outs of cabviews. To me, it's not high on my list of things to find out about..I'm sure someone will figure it out.
To Steamer...thanks for the offer, please don't devote any of your time to this ( as if I had a say in that http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/blush2.gifhttp://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif )...the coupler work is much more important ... and I still have not finished testing that static broken coupler problem when resuming from a save on a grade...I tried it again and couldn't duplicate it. On another route, no problem resuming in same situation???? Puzzling...to me.http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/ko2.gif
To Markus...yes, it might be related. I was going to email Borislav and let him know...maybe he has an idea.
