No, in timetable mode, that option is true by default, the user option is ignored.

A PR has now been filed, where the Autopilot and Extended AI shunting options have been deleted, and the Location-linked passing path processing has been moved to the Activity options.

The two unneeded options are no more present in OR NewYear MG rev. 61. Same will be true for next Unstable release, provided there are no incompatibilities with other pull requests.
