In completing the Virginian Route, two errors cropped up and were noticed long after
The area had been edited by adding several transfers under the track and road pieces.
Whatever it is, crashes MSTS or MSRE, but does not affect TSRE or ORTS. Lukas Lussar
has the route and is trying to determine the problem, but when this was posted on
T-S, Goku answered by saying that a new tool in TSRE might help, but he did not say
what the tool is, or anything about it.

So I downloaded the newest 64bit release of TSRE and I see this data about messages
and errors, but I have no idea how to use that functionality, and I have no idea what
the new tool he mentions is? I'm a newbie to TSRE and still learning it, but will
soon have to exclusively use it because MSRE is getting more erratic on Win-7 and
once this Covid-19 thing passes, my supplier (friend at church) wants to "upgrade"
me to Win-10, and I fear MSRE will be useless on that.

Any suggestions, or comments-----

Jump to the tile causing problems and see if TSRE will report errors from World Objects.

The situation is that it is hard to tell exactly what tile is causing the problem, so
I jumped to the last known location before the crash. This caused a lot of data to
appear in the log file, but nothing that I could tell was an error. I then moved the
editor in the direction of where the error would occur and I assume that as I do more
material goes into the log file, so I am attaching the resulting log file.

No, these errors are not written to log.

I wondered about that, and so I've already tried that. No errors were displayed
in the error/message window. I suspect the issue is some kind of corruption of
a road element as that was the last type of item added to the area. I do all
track first, then subgrade transfers, then roads and finally everything else.

By the way Goku, I really appreciate your efforts in this. Must be nice to
have a PhD project that helps one's hobby. I suspect there was some degree of
suspicion, or perhaps humor, among your advising professors. Many years ago,
I achieved a Masters in Electrical Engineering, and taught Fortran-77 for
some years in night school at a University. Now at 81, I am playing-----.
My career was all in railroad engineering management.

I set the parameter in the setup file to load all world files. After the route
loaded, I checked the errors/messages window and there were non. Question -
should this window already be open when the world files load, and if so, is there
a token in the setup file to force this. There are so many tokens in the setup
that it would be really nice if someone could provide a list of what they are
and what they mean, and what they might be useful for.

There's examples of most of them in the setup file that comes with the download. The ones that aren't there are more recent additions that haven't been fully documented, and are usually the subject of one or another of the route editor discussion threads.
