The train passes the tank at Cresco.
At Lobato, the train stops for 5 minutes to cool the wheels & for the crew to inspect the train.
After that, the train rolls through the narrows.

The Silverton Train, what a nice route
This is actually not the Silverton line, this is the line that goes from Chama, New Mexico up and over Cumbres Pass, through the Los Pinos river valley, through the 600 foot deep and spectacular Toltec Gorge, and finally through the rugged San Juan mountains to Antonito, Colorado. The actual rail line itself is now owned by the states of Colorado and New Mexico, and now operates as the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, it is, in my personal opinion, one of the best train rides in the country. I was just there last month on vacation with my dad.
