Some trainsimmers have pointed out that on real locos the TRACTION_BRAKING displays shows a signed value (positive for tractive force, negative for dynamic brake force). Instead the MSTS-compliant TRACTION_BRAKING implemented in OR shows an unsigned value.
Therefore with simple additional software I'm adding an ORTS_SIGNED_TRACTION_BRAKING cabview control that shows a signed value.

The feature is now available in OR NewYear MG rev. 57.

That's something for the .cvf file, not for the .eng file.
This is an example for a dial:
		Dial (
			Type ( ORTS_SIGNED_TRACTION_BRAKING DIAL )
			Position ( 319 223 3 32 )
			Graphic ( ../../Common.Cab/CabE464/AgoDin.ace )
			Style ( NEEDLE )
			ScaleRange ( -761 1600 )
			ScalePos ( 190 70 )
			Units ( AMPS )
			Pivot ( 36 )
			DirIncrease ( 0 )
		)

You can use all units of measure that are accepted by the standard TRACTION_BRAKING control.

Hi everyone!
I'm an italian rail driver, and i tried this new feature.
I think that it should be linked also to train brake, not only at the dynamic brake, here in Italy most of the trains work in this way.

Hello, Regarding the function I have to say that this is a great step forward ..
However, on my experiences, I can definitely confirm that the operation is different in Italy .. I have been to Germany and depending on the regions the operation is very different ..

In my country on Alstom/Acec locomotives, this is only with dynamic brake, not pneumatic.

Solution for this is a 3nd traction/braking with dynamic brake tension + pneumatic

I noticed that this feature had already an older Trello card https://trello.com/c...ab-view-control , which is in the 1.x column; therefore the feature was approved by the ORMT, so that I'll generate a PR for the official OR version.

I've been trying to implement this feature in the update for my Evolution Series locomotives. The digital indicator works perfectly well. However, I cannot make the Gauge indicator work at all. No matter what I try, it always shows just the digital indicator. Any ideas on what might be causing this issue, or is the gauge indicator not an option here?
