Yes, the pantograph on the opposing side must rise. But in the cab it must be signaled as pantograph 1.

Are you sure that your front and rear cabs don't have inverted panto animations? I am trying with an Italian loco, and everything works correctly. Only, the on screen notifications show the absolute panto number and not the number related to the cab. But the cab animations are OK. In my case I have a switch at the left for the rear panto (with respect to the cab) and a switch at the right for the other panto, and the same applies to the rear cab. The switch at the left is animated when I move the rear panto (with respect to the rear cab).

The switch in the front cab points to the right, this is pantograph 1. It points to the left after moving to the rear cab. He should point also to the right here.
