It's summer, RGS Goose 4 departs Durango at 4:25 PM as Train 376 to Dolores. The motorman on this trip is Craig. There is 3500 pounds of mail & express, & no passengers when the Goose left Durango.
The goose rolls through Franklin Junction, the starting point of a former branch serving a coal mine from 1901 to 1926 when the rails were pulled.

Say, that's a nice looking route. :rolleyes: Lookin' good. But you need to get those doors open on those station stops (Q left and Shift-Q right). Tom worked long and hard on the doors and the fold down steps for the rear compartment. But don't open the left doors at Hesperus - sheer drop off to the coal branch! :)

BTW, the ONLY Flat Panels in the whole Pierce-Arrow Carbody were the Sides of the Hood.
