Hi there

I've built a timetable for MLT's Kicking Horse Pass 2.0 consisting of 18+ trains and am using the monogame version of OR to get around the 4GB limit. When I call up the HUD screen that shows memory usage I have noted that the Updater Process is running between 98 - 100%.

What is this updater process doing and are there ways I can reduce it to a lower amount?

Thanks

Bert

So is there a more appropriate sub-forum where I should pose this question?

basically Updater process is handling most parts of the simulation and physics, though not rendering and sound. So I'd assume the only way to lower the load is to reduce the number of trains running.

Thanks. I was concerned it had something to do with the updater for new versions of OpenRails.
