It's 1965, British Railways Class 40 #D201 is on the point of a passenger train that left Leeds a little while ago; we pick up on the run as it stops at Skipton & Hellifield.

The train rolls through Horton-in-Ribblesdale, rolls over Ribblehead Viaduct, & rolls through Blea Moor Tunnel.

Looks great!! Didn't know BR ran locos like that, interesting looking headlight setup, too. Tip for you, you can run that engine through DPU Off of trainsim.com to fix the issues with the exhaust smoke!

The train crests Ais Gill & stops at Kirkby Stephen.

Those locos didn't have any headlights! Like most UK locos of the time, they only had 3 or 4 low power 'marker' or indicator lights to show the type of train. The top half of the white circle can be folded down to cover the light. The light code shown is for an express passenger train - see : https://www.rsme.org...loco-head-codes

Cheers,
Ged

The train stops at Appleby, then gets underway again.

The train rolls through the countryside as it rolls on the Down (AKA Northbound) line.

Soon, the train pulls into Carlisle. The train would pull into Edinburgh a few hours later.
