Looks like just the sigcfg.dat file. There are two or three minor errors in the sigscr.dat, but I wouldn't worry about those too much. The crossovers and bad track nodes I would leave alone unless you speak fluent Database, or know exactly what you're doing in the route editor. There are a lot of things that can go wrong in a route with interactives on it. If you do try to fix those, make backups. Several

Can you assist on the signals?

Can you please PM me an email address for me to send the sigcfg.dat file to?

At some point we need to find a way to fix crossovers (and level crossings).
I think it may be possible one at a time by clicking on the crossovers in TSRE.
However if we are lucky perhaps someone will come up with a crossover and level crossing fixing routine.
The problem extends across many routes and unless fixed they will not be correctly signalled to prevent collisions from trains (or road vehicles) on crossing routes.

Sadly, TSRE itself also has problems with crossovers. There are a number of single slip shapes in UK FineScale for which TSRE refuses to create a crossover entry. When using these shapes, I have to revert back to MSTS-RE to place these single slips, and then can continue in TSRE.
I have pointed this out to Goku a long time ago but the problem still persists.

Rob Roeterdink

Rob, I have many ukfs_ single_slips placed in MSTS RE that don`t appear to have crossover entries, in that trains pass through each other and signals clear conflicting paths through the slips. This happens both in MSTS and ORTS.I agree TSRE isn`t any better, but are we sure that the data in UKFS is correct? The route David is working with will have many UKFS slips, so this matter will be relevant
Rick

I did a little test, and if the slip has been correctly placed in the .tdb, including it's crossover details, it works correctly.
But it seems these slips are prone to cause problems with crossover entries, either creating invalid crossover entries or none at all.
This seems to be due to their layout, if I understood correctly it is because the end nodes (where the switches are placed) are very close to the actual crossover point.

Hi Rob
When you say "correctly placed" is there more to that than having the red bars showing in RE and no blue bars? Can the entry be corrected for shapes already laid?

Darwin, yes, you can have slips with red bars showing correctly and no blue poles, yet still faulty. Rob may have suggestions about correcting existing shapes.
Rob, what you say about slips working with your test is useful, thanks. Was this test MSTS RE or TSRE?
Also useful is the info about distances between end nodes and crossover point. In the past with TSRE, I could not get the switch to "stick" , and the blue poles disappear. Goku responded and increased the tolerance of gaps, which worked for switch placement . But he said " I hope this doesn`t cause other problems" . Maybe we should ask Goku to revisit this?
David, I`m not trying to hijack your thread, but help,as I think this is relevant to your ORlog errors
I will run some tests on my own route which has similar problems
Rick

Please do not apologies Rick. All of what is being discussed is relevant to our problems.
