I hope it's just me, but I'm baffled that no one has caught this before. The speed limit set in the TRK file is interpreted incorrectly in OR versus correctly in MSTS. Please see image below for example:

Hi Chris,
the speed limit in the Track monitor depends not only from the one found in the .trk file (the route speed limit), but also from the speed limit of the player consist (which MSTS does not consider) and from the speed limit of the player locomotive (that I believe MSTS considers). And this apart from speed limits set by speedposts or signals.

In other words, I've got a lot of work to do to align all these variables - so that players of either OR and MSTS have the same experience.
