I wonna ask of ORTSMaxTractiveForceCurves( is only for Diesel engines, or for electric trains too?

It works for both electric and diesel trains.
I found it really good for diesel hydraulics where output is best defined by tractive force.
For diesel electric and electric locos it would be more ideal perhaps to define power rather than force.
Having said that you can use it to fake "automatic acceleration" on electric multiple unit trains.
