Hi everyone, Would it be possible to modify the ORTS camera to center it to the models? This pivoting around the front of the model drives me bat shoot crazy.

I might be more inclined to offer releases for ORTS if I could enjoy running the program, instead of getting aggravated by the camera configuration.

Hi,

Commands "Shift+Alt+7(Numpad)" and "Shift+Alt+1(Numpad)" (NumLock off) move the viewing position slowly backwards or forwards along a train. When you reach the required viewing position, repeating the keypress sequence will stop the movement at this point. You can therefore select the exact point of any car that you want the camera to be centred upon.

The problem with that solution is that you have to redo it every time you change cars. The whole setup is particularly problematic for content developers, because it makes inspecting equipment in-sim very awkward and more time-consuming than it should be. I don't understand why the camera center can't be the same as it is in the #4 view, especially since we already have separate coupler/brakeman cameras.

Maybe an OR keystroke that would center any camera? KeyStroke + any camera
