Hello everyone, this is my very first post. so i apologize if i made any mistake

recently i run a TGV from Paris Est to Strasbourg. at 7 PM (about 1 hour after sunset) i found this "rare event" below the horizon: the moon start to moving across the sun! unfortunately it doesn't cover entire surface of the sun so i considered it partial solar eclipse.

the weather at the time is cloudy (about 21% cloud coverage) and visibility is about 5100 meters.

since this was happen at night time, i wonder if this event could happen at daytime.

cheers,

Ramdhany

Cool! :thumbup3: And we don't need special viewing shades, either!

Welcome, your very first post is a good one! I've never encountered an eclipse in Open Rails before.
