Hi Folks,

If you want a nice "Loading" logo in ORTS - the one that shows prior to the custom route loading image - just dump the attached "Loading.png" in your "Content" directory of ORTS - for a bit of a fresh new look - just wished it stayed for a few more seconds to give ORTS more of a chance to advertise itself... It looked great at 1024x1024 but I scaled it to 512x512 for those that might not have really high resolution monitors...

If anyone from the ORTS Development Team likes it - please feel free to include it in ORTS distro...

Let me just throw this out there - I can't code but I would be more than happy to help out ORTS - so if any of you coders need some graphics/texture help with your ORTS tasks - feel free to give me a shout - I'm pretty handy with PSP...

Hi Folks,

Thanks for the comments - LOL - in the bigger scheme of things it probably doesn't matter much - but it seems to add a little pop to the interface...
:)

Scott

Hi Folks,

Just a simple conversion of my previous artwork into "ico" format so you can use it for the ORTS icon on your desktop - not a biggie - but it makes the icon look like something a little more current - it looks good on Win10 but I haven't tested on older operating systems.

You need to save the file somewhere - then [right click] on your existing ORTS icon - [select properties] - then [change icon] selecting the path to wherever you saved the file.

Just found this thread this morning, very nice work Scott, adds "extra value" to the game - especially like the loading png! Thanks for the time and effort, appreciated. http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/hi.gif

Chris/Gerry,

Thanks for the comments - I try to help where I can - ORTS is free to use any of the stuff I make.

Regards,
Scott
