I`m trying to use the $activate command so that when a train arrives at a station stop, a second inactive train becomes activated. Please see the attached timetable pic.
My intentions
1) the passive train goes to the station
2) the active train spawns, but reamins in active
3) When the passive train arrives at the station, the active train becomes activated
4) The active train goes to the station and transfers coaches from the passive train
What happens in game:
Passive train as player
the acive train spawns but doesn`t move. F5 dispatcher AI data" trigact"
passive train in F10 window has " waiting for transfer with active train"

Active train as player
F10 window says " train inactive , activated by other train" The train remains inactive.
Thanks for any help,
rick

:sign_oops: Looks like I forgot something
The commands are there, the processing is there - but I forgot to implement the trigger for this function in the station stop processing.
I'll have a look at it over the next few days and commit a patch.

:sign_sorry:

Thanks, Rob, no rush. I`m relieved there is a reason.
Thanks also for your very detailed explanations about timetables, and signalling. It must take a great deal of time and effort to frame such precise answers.

Hello

Was this patched?

I tested in recent unstable builds but could not get activate commands to work at station stops.
