Problem statement: After painting tertex with TSRE the edge pixel does not display properly (it is lighter).
Scope: Visible in both TSRE and Open Rails.
Example images:

In TSRE with tile line display turned on:
Attached File  Lines1.jpg (322.2K)
Number of downloads: 19

In TSRE with tile line display turned off (click on image to see this full size):
Attached File  Lines2.jpg (274.37K)
Number of downloads: 23

Close up in TSRE:
Attached File  Lines3.jpg (425.37K)
Number of downloads: 18

All 4 tiles you see here were painted with the same texture art. I don't recall if they were all painted at the same time or at different times.

There is a possibility it's a microtex problem... does TSRE use the microtex file?

This must have been corrected, because I'm not seeing it in v0.698

I'm wondering if this is an artifact of the TERRTEX compression error that was highlighted last week. It's where the first pixel row is flipped to the other side.

I think you're right about that. It just occurred to me I was looking at the overlay map, not the terrain textures when I said it must have been fixed.

I had this issue a month or so ago and got not resolution to it. The old "DXT" issue wasn't it. If you find a solution can you please share?

Regards,

Of course.

I've seen this on models and in those cases the answer was not noticing a layer in the original art is off by one pixel.
