As mentioned, the latest unstable version includes implementation for analogue clock in 2D cabview.
The definition is a single entry, named dialclock (this is a bit more easy to spell than analogueclock).
The entry requires 2 or 3 subentries : hours, minutes and (optional) seconds, defining the hours hand, minutes hand and seconds hand.
Each of these entries is a simplified 'dial' definition, requiring position, pivot and graphic only.

It is advisable to use the smallest possible needle (just one pixel in width).

Here is an example using all three hands :

                DialClock (
			Hours (
				Position ( 190 285 1 22 )
				Pivot ( 3 )
				Graphic ( "hour.ace" )
			)
			Minutes (
				Position ( 190 285 1 30 )
				Pivot ( 3 )
				Graphic ( "minute.ace" )
			)
			Seconds (
				Position ( 190 285 1 30 )
				Pivot ( 3 )
				Graphic ( "second.ace" )
			)
		)

And here is the result (cab of german DMU class 628) :

Hi, I had to change some options in the simulator for tests and now the analog clocks in the 2d cab don't work anymore.

My version is 1.3.1.4328.

Any ideas? Thank you!

Robert, this is very pleasant feature.
Is it possible to define, whether hours needle turn made in 12 or 24 hours, please?
Needle's points should be downwards on image for 12 hours to be upwards on clock.

Hello Robert:

This feature is available in New Year

Would it be possible to have your .ace (hour, minute, second and 628-fr) textures...?

Thanks in advance

Pedro

Hello,
I did not register at all that the analog clock in the 2D cabin stopped working (OR 1.5.1)
In some cabins I have a historic Hasler tachograph that has an analog clock integrated on the speedometer dial.
So I added the settings to the cabin definition .cvf and the small and big hand .ace to the folder. Everything works as it should.

On a side note: I thought the standard analog dial was 12H. I have not yet come across analog clocks in 24H format, with the exception of historical tower astronomical clocks.
