Blender 2.8 was still in RC 3.

Are you sure that the final release will not undo some of your hard work for the exporter? I am a rather conservative guy and I always treat "beta" releases of things like Blender with a wait and see attitude.

Maybe you know something about RC3 that the rest of don't?
