Aerial Panorama of the route (as of 2 weeks ago)
Attached Image: Clipboard0208 - half size.jpg

Northwest is to the left.

The image is presented at half size and represents about 4 tiles. I plan to extend the track 1-2 tiles further further northwest. Not sure if I'm willing to add one more tile to the east to get to navy pier. The problem with doing that is not navy pier, that's straight forward. The problem is the HUGE IC terminal yard is also on the lake front, just on the other side of the river and I don't want to model that.

At the Southeast end (far right) the track will go a little bit further tot he right. This also presents a few problems because across the river, out in the open, is the approach tracks and LCL yards around Deerborn Station and once again modeling those would be a very large challenge.

And I thought I had a lot of custom buildings to create. What an amazing switching route to operate.

In a month or so I plan on putting an archive containing the route out in the cloud and then on request handing out download links (no download limits that way). It's nowhere near done but there is more than enough in place to do plenty of switching.
