Got the following attempting an export:

I'm stumped, but that's no surprise. . . Everything displays correctly in Blender, both Game and Cycles, my mesh is named MAIN, all caps. . . What'd I do wrong? :wtf01:

I tried a few things to reproduce this error, but wasn't successful. I may need to see your file to work out what's happening.

If you want to pm me your file and textures, I'll take a look.

Wayne

PS what version of Blender are you using?

In case anyone else runs into this, I'll mention what we found on looking at the file.

Tooltroll was using Blender 2.79b.

For this project, he used Cycles to bake some procedural textures, later converting to Blender Game mode for the export. It seems Cycles left some data in the texture slots that the exporter didn't recognize. The exporter should have handled it better.

To fix this delete these ex-Cycles materials and create new ones for each object to get proper Blender Game materials.

I'll improve the handling of this on my next update to the exporter.

What Wayne said.

I actually managed to keep the materials, but I deleted all the cycles material nodes, disabled nodes altogether, then added the textures to the now-blank materials, all the while in Blender Game mode. I didn't have to re-map UVs as I feared I might, but just ensured that the new BG textures pointed to the old UV maps. It all worked out in the end:

Frankly, it's my fault the exporter had a conniption; I went about the whole project kind of backwards and re-did a lot of things along the way, which contributed to the junk the poor exporter had to cope with. ;)
